Beauty pro Priscilla Corner packs her do and don't list in a poem!

The riotous bursts of colour like the vibrant hues of spring
Oh rainbow-tinted water,
That gets sprayed on everything
The festival of friendship
And kaleidoscopic fun
Makes its joyous presence felt
Once winter’s work is done
Bottle green and rani pink,
Bright yellow, electric blue
Spring has unleashed her palette
Now Holi’s turn is due.

So spin that wheel of colour
Of intricate hues and shades
But here’s a word of caution
Will now have to be made.
All that glitters is not gold
All pigments not from petals
Lurking in some colours bright
are glass, lead and metal.
Tender is the sheath we have
So delicate is our skin
In every open pore there
Toxic tints will move in.

So shield the surface of it
With a good barrier cream
A dab, a daub or a smear
Of good ole Vaseline.
Gulal has been the cause of
rashes, zits, and oftentimes
What comes in perfect handy
Is trusty calamine.
before you hit sun and spray Dab SPF20.
